The team at California Engineering Contractors, Inc. (CEC) recently reached out to Mission Critical requesting some assistance with a company brochure document. CEC intended to submit the final document to a new client to gain a project contract, but the deadline was just three weeks away.
Mission Critical’s content team worked closely with CEC to gain the critical information needed to write the entire document. Through a series of interviews and charrettes, we broke out the details of CEC’s proven approach and processes, their personnel, and their experience. Our content and design teams worked concurrently through wireframing, layout, and writing to complete our typical review process under the tight timelines.
A key element to this document was the design – more specifically, the photographic narrative. We integrated with CEC’s photographer to work through imagery sets, selecting those that most accurately and comprehensively represented CEC’s expertise. These photos were highlighted in the 8-page, stitch-bound brochure, featured on the covers and carrying the content.
The final brochure was a beautiful summary of CEC’s capacity that can be repurposed for future pursuits.
