The Mission Critical team spent April 8-10 back east in Cincinnati, Ohio for the 2019 DBIA Conference.
Mission Critical is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and proudly supports the alternative delivery and Design-Build industry. One of the highlights is attending the annual conference the DBIA holds in a different city each year. Members from multiple disciplines and industries attend, from owners to architects, contractors, and engineers – even Proposal Management Specialist firms like us.
Mission Critical attends these conferences to build relationships across the alternative delivery industry, share in the knowledge, best practices, and success stories shared amongst the attendees, and participate in the national-level conversation around Design-Build methods procurements. DBIA is the recognized authority in the Design-Build industry, and the annual conference is a place for education, collaboration, and recognition of the wins and innovations achieved over the past year.
In keeping with the celebratory side of the DBIA conferences, Mission Critical continued a new team tradition this year and raffled off another impressive, mechanized LEGO crane. We were thrilled to have so many attendees return to our booth asking about the crane they had seen the year before or had heard about from others. We are honored to be members of this great community and are proud to have made positive impacts in the industry, even if it means spending all-nighters writing Design-Build proposals for our contractor clients or assembling thousands of LEGO pieces to share with our DBIA community.
We look forward to attending the 2020 conference and can’t wait to see the developments the industry will make in the coming year.
