Caltrans District 8 recently awarded the $112M Caltrans District 8 CM/GC Group 1 MMBN project to Griffith Company – Henkels & McCoy, with Mission Critical as the Alternative Project Delivery specialist supporting the joint venture team.


This project is part of California's Middle-Mile Broadband Initiative (MMBI) and adds 225 miles of broadband fiber installation to our client's backlog of projects for 2023-2024.


This $112M win is Mission Critical's first collaboration with Henkels & McCoy and continues our six-year relationship with Griffith, which began with the award of the $300M LAWA Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) project to Griffith in 2016.
